When you purchase a commercially made soap, you are buying a synthetic detergent bar containing harsh chemicals. These include preservatives for a longer shelf life that end up drying out your skin and in some people, causing rashes or allergic reactions. Whatever good stuff was in there initially (like glycerin, for example] is sold off to other companies so they can make lotions and such.

I make all my soap and products here in New Bedford, Massachusetts, USA. We specialize in making you a handmade soap from scratch in the purest form. It is is called cold process, combining all the finest ingredients without heating them for long period of time. We start by selecting the best food grade oils like Olive Oil, Coconut, Palm, Castor, Cocoa Butter, Apricot Kernel, Wheat Germ.  In addition, every bar contains a generous amount of Shea Butter for superior nourishment and conditioning of the skin. After saponification, we may add certain herbs, clays, spices. Then we choose natural plant essential oils that bring on that wonderful aroma you smell.

We cut and cure all soaps for minimum of 4-5 weeks. We then wrap our soaps in a cigar band style label. Handmade soap has a reputation for being long lasting, but remember, this can only be achieved if the bar is kept in a well-drained soap dish and not in a puddle of water. The price of our soap is $5.00 or 3 for $12.00 which for the size and ingredient’s is a bargain .. Enjoy!
